You have to add a data control object for VB, if you are still stuck, may be you can contact a VB expert at websites like http://askexpert.info/How do i attach/hook up a datebase to a visual basic project. What code?
This is a loaded question.

Read up on ADO.NET. Once you have learned it, then ask specific questions on using it.

depends on what type of database you're using but, here's a tutorial:

At a higher level, a translator has to worry about much more than a word-for-word translation. What about words in one language that don't have matches in the other? What about word order? Grammar? Verb conjugation? Syntax?

Way back in the days when mainframes ruled the world, there was a joke about an English-Russian-English translator program that, when tested with "Out of sight, out of mind" translated it to Russian and back as "Blind insanity."

Before you add a second language, I suggest you think more about a solid translation to the first one.
