How do i teach English in France?

I'm quite confused about what i want to do when i leave school. I hope to leave school next year with 4 highers (A-Levels), one of them being French. I want to teach English in France I think, but i don't want to do it forever obviously. I wouldn't even know how to begin doing it anyway. I've heard of TEFL courses, but should i get a degree in French/English first?

Could i then become a French teacher here? Or a translator?

I know I'm good at french and i hope to do it in life but i really don't know where to begin!! Help! How do i teach English in France?
Basic qualifications to teach in France are a degree and a TEFL certificate.

The degree can be in almost any subject but to have it in English or an English related subject would give you an extra card to play when it comes to job hunting.

You don't have to speak French to teach English in France, but obviously it would help outside the classroom. How do i teach English in France?

After you leave school, you can do a TEFL or a CELTA.

The educational sector places more emphasis on these special qualifications for a Teacher.

Then Later, maybe a PGCE
