Short English-French translation needed? Please help?

I've used the translator and dictionary, but it all didn't come out quite what I wanted to say, which is:



"if there is even any"



as in the sentence, "the dangers of alcohol overweighs the advantages, if there is even any."Short English-French translation needed? Please help?
I would translate it like :



"Les avantages de l'alcool, si tant est qu'il y en ait, sont d茅pass茅s par le danger de ce dernier"



The expression "si tant est que..." is what you will find the closest to "is there is any". Here, I chose to start with the advantages because it sounded better (to me) but you can also try it this way :



"Les dangers de l'alcool d茅passent ses avantages, si tant est qu'il y en ait"... But it sounds strange... don't you think so?
